What we collect

• Email address — when you create an account.
• Location — with your permission, to show nearby fruit stands. We don't store your location on our servers.
• Reviews, prices, and venue submissions — content you choose to submit.
• Scan photos — images you capture using the AI scanner, stored against your account if you choose to log them.
• Basic usage data — standard server logs (pages visited, timestamps) to keep the service running.

How we use it

• To run the app and show you relevant fruit stands, prices, and reviews.
• To power the AI ripeness scanner (scan images are sent to Groq for analysis).
• To send account emails like password resets — no marketing without your opt-in.
• To fix bugs and improve the service.

Third-party services

We use the following services to run the app:

• Supabase — database, auth, and file storage.
• Groq — AI analysis for the fruit scanner. Images are processed and not retained by Groq.
• Mapbox / OpenStreetMap — map tiles.
• Vercel — hosting.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. Reviews, prices, and venue data you submit are displayed publicly within the app. We share data with the services listed above only as needed to operate the app, and with law enforcement if legally required.

Your data

You can delete your account from your profile page at any time. If you have questions about your data, email hello@cart.party.

Eligibility

This app is intended for users who are 18 or older and located in the United States. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 or outside the US.
